This Privacy Statement applies to websites (the “Sites”) and the business operations of General Spring of Kansas City, Inc. or one of its affiliates (“General Spring,” “us” or “we”). This Privacy Statement addresses General Spring’s practices regarding information collected from users of the Site and addresses information collected directly through or from the Sites or otherwise during the course of our business operations, including from telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media. 1. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES
General Spring collects, uses, and discloses personal information of its business contacts for business purposes only and consistent with applicable laws. Where General Spring discloses personal information to third parties, it does so for the same business purposes described below and, where appropriate, requires that such parties maintain its confidentiality and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure its security and protection.

General Spring may place Internet “cookies” on your hard drive. Internet cookies are small amounts of data that contain a unique identifier that many web sites frequently send to your web browser to be stored on your computer’s hard drive in order to save data about you, such as your name, password, user-name, screen preferences, and the pages of a site you have viewed. When you revisit the Sites, General Spring may recognize you by your Internet cookies and customize your experience accordingly. General Spring may use Google Analytics or a similar service to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on the Sites. When a user performs a search within the Sites, General Spring may record information identifying the user or linking the user to the search performed and recording information related to the search request. Without limiting the foregoing, General Spring has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any and all communications posted to the Sites, including through Distributor features and other general areas of the Sites. Such voluntary information posted by you may be collected and used by Company in accordance with this Privacy Statement.
2. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES.
Except as provided herein, individually identifying personal information provided through the Sites will not be sold or otherwise disclosed to third parties not affiliated with General Spring. Your personal information may be shared between and among the General Spring subsidiaries and affiliates.
Personal information provided through the Sites may be used and disclosed to other entities and/or business partners in the operation of the Sites, including General Spring Distributors, in order to provide the products or services requested and for marketing and promotional purposes. Aggregate data on users’ home servers and individually identifying information, such as names, postal and e-mail addresses and phone numbers, may be provided to third parties such as marketing firms. Identifiable and non-identifiable user information and data may be disclosed or distributed to another party with which General Spring enters or reasonably may enter into a corporate transaction, such as, for example, a merger, consolidation, acquisition, or asset purchase, or to a third party pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, in response to a request by or on behalf of any local, state, federal, or other government agency, department, or body, whether or not pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, or if determined by General Spring in its sole judgment that such disclosure or distribution is appropriate to protect the life, health, or property of General Spring or any other person or entity.
While General Spring may undertake efforts to see that any third party to which General Spring shares, rents, sells, or otherwise discloses personal information is under a contractual obligation to use the personal information solely for the purposes for which the information was disclosed, such third parties are independent third parties over which General Spring exercises no control. General Spring is not responsible for, and will not be liable for, the conduct, actions, omissions, or information handling or dissemination practices of third parties.
3. SECURITY MEASURES AND COMMUNICATING WITH GENERAL SPRING.
General Spring has implemented physical, electronic and procedural security features that are designed to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to personal information. Despite General Spring’s efforts to protect your personal information, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from General Spring via this Sites or via e-mail cannot be and is not guaranteed. You acknowledge that the technical processing and transmission of the Sites content may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Accordingly, General Spring is not responsible for the security of information transmitted via the Internet. General Spring is not responsible for the privacy practices of such Web sites, advertisers, or third parties or the content of such sites and it is your sole obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other web sites. General Spring does not control these third parties’ use of cookies, collection of information, or how they manage such information. It is solely your obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other Web sites, advertisers and any third parties.
5. OPT-OUT RIGHT.
Except as necessary to obtain the products, services, or information requested, you may opt out of having your personal information, which has been voluntarily provided to General Spring through online forms, membership or registration forms and profiles, contest entries, surveys, e-mail, or other online avenues, prospectively retained by General Spring, used by General Spring for secondary purposes, or disclosed by General Spring to third parties, by contacting General Spring via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone at the addresses set out above. This provision does not apply to the collection of the type of Web browser of the user to the Sites or to information provided or collected that does not meet the description in this Section 6
6. PRIVACY OF CHILDREN.
Under Age 13: We understand the need to protect children's privacy online (we define “children” as minors younger than 13). The Sites are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. We do not knowingly allow children to register with us, communicate with us, or to use any of our online services. These companies may collect information about your visits to the Sites and other websites and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. 8. DO NOT TRACK
Do Not Track (DNT) is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers, allowing users to opt out of tracking by websites and online services. At the present time, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) has not yet established universal standards for recognizable DNT signals and therefore, General Spring and the Sites do not recognize DNT.
9. ACCESS TO AND ABILITY TO CORRECT PERSONAL INFORMATION.
Upon your request via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone, General Spring will provide you with a summary of any personal information retained by General Spring that has been voluntarily provided by you to General Spring through online forms, registration forms, contest entries, surveys, e-mail, or another online avenue. 10. RIGHT TO CHANGE PRIVACY STATEMENT
General Spring may change this Privacy Statement at any time. Notice of any new or revised Privacy Statement, as well as the location of the new or revised statement, will be posted on the Sites for at least twenty (20) days after the change. It is the obligation of users returning to the Sites to learn of changes to the Privacy Statement since their last visit. Any change to this Privacy Statement shall be effective as to any user who has visited the Sites before the change was made.
11. Visitors from Outside the United States—Cross-Border Transfer
The Sites may be hosted in the United States.
